Oh this looks tantalizing, and yet I wonder if I could handle it! Stop motion, even if done in a lighthearted manner, gives such a sense of creepiness - as if you're living in a world where another entity is blinking for you - no control over your own eyelids so everything is disjointedly articulated. Pleased this project was crowdfunded as like you said - it looks like a movie not otherwise made. Did you ever see Svankmajer's 1988 Alice with bits of live action and bits of stop-motion? Trailer: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KVOmGJzj5LM&ab_channel=LookingGlassFilm Where can your film be found by the by?
Yes, I used to own Svankmajer's Alice on DVD. I might still, in storage, along with Lunacy and a bunch of Jiri Barta shorts. Here in the apartment I have Svankmajer's Faust and the old Kino Brothers Quay collection.
Love stop-motion and horror/dark fantasy. I'll be checking this out.

Yes, of course, I should have guessed - very cool! Can't wait to read more of your take on film.
Dammit, you’ve sold me on it. Going to try and find it now.
