Oh this looks tantalizing, and yet I wonder if I could handle it! Stop motion, even if done in a lighthearted manner, gives such a sense of creepiness - as if you're living in a world where another entity is blinking for you - no control over your own eyelids so everything is disjointedly articulated. Pleased this project was crowdfunded as like you said - it looks like a movie not otherwise made. Did you ever see Svankmajer's 1988 Alice with bits of live action and bits of stop-motion? Yes, I used to own Svankmajer's Alice on DVD. I might still, in storage, along with Lunacy and a bunch of Jiri Barta shorts. Here in the apartment I have Svankmajer's Faust and the old Kino Brothers Quay collection.
